HELLO! I TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER BLOGSITE!

Hi! If I do have readers, please be reminded that from now on, I will be blogging at http://lentechism.blogspot.com

It is depressing that google doesn't even know THIS POSTEROUS SITE exists! Ugh. Posterous is so *curses*

I managed to export some blogs at blogspot already so it would not be hard for you and I to go around. It is still under construction. Don't expect it to be pretty. I still haven't fully grasped this new format yet. I am asking around how to make my blog prettier. You can help me if you want. I am open to suggestions. (*.*,)

I promise lentechism.blogspot.com will be a prettier blog than this one. Also, a more social and googe-search friendly site.

Thanks guys for taking the time to read this! :)

A List on Obsessions

When I am obsessed with something, I am really obsessed with it. There is no stopping me from getting things I want. I find my obsessions particularly positive in a way that it's attainable and affordable; never dangerous. The great thing also about things I obsess about is that it is practical. These are things I use everyday and things I obsess over long periods ot time.

The past months I have been obsessed with:

1) Perfumes/Colognes/Body Mist: I once told a friend my ideal happy morning is sniffing a bunch of perfumes and/or lovely aroma/fragrance. I bought 4 bottles of body mists and 1 bottle of perfume. My cousin and mother was thoughful enough to give me another two bottles of perfume just because. (*.*,)

2) Plain V-neck shirts: Not just the plain shirts, but v-neck shirts. I usually buy mine in Divisoria because it's inexpensive. Next time I'm buying ones that are slighly more loose.

3) Vintage/floral dresses: I'm quite sure this obsession will wear off longer than I think it would.

4) Book sale

5) Caramel brown colored things: bags, flats, wedges, belts, etc.

6) Skirts: Because it makes women effortlessly pretty.

Inna's Birthday and A Thought or Two about Stalkers

I do not have the slightest clue of what kind of energy I exude in the public eye but I have been the target of stalkers. I am talking of real stalkers here and not internet-I-am-looking-at-your-FB-profile-and-searching-you-in-the-intarnetz kind of stalking.

Before anything else, fitting room photos. The first two photos from the left are my type of dresses which I wish I could afford. But I just have to take note of these babies so that I'll know what to look for next in thrift shops.

Collages2
So the third dress (far right) is what I own and wore the day I got stalked in a mall. I was walking alone in Megamall when suddenly a random guy started walking with me as he asked personal questions or making a pass that he knows me or had seen me somewhere before. First of all you dumbface, I've heard of that line millions of time, and did you know the other guy was even more creative than you? He insisted he met me somewhere and that my name is Michelle (wow. I look like a Michelle. I'd go gagahappy if someone calls me Bianca, Chloe, Nicole or Natalie). But you, Mr. Megamallstalker douchebag, was more sappy and cliche. You had to tell me your heart stopped when I passed you by (some funnyshit though) Don't get me started on other weirdos I've come across with.

The Long Weekend That Was + Zamboanga Foodstuff

The end of August was fun as it should be and has been spent in the highlands. Weekend was extended up to Monday since it was announced as a holiday (National Heroes Day). Coming to the office on a Monday and having a flight Tuesday dawn [to Zambo again] was well, kind of exhausting but, I must admit, kind of cool!

This time, Zamboanga proves to be enjoyable especially because of the food trips. I feel quite bloated and heavy nowadays! So, I decided to cut back on food for a while and really do some physical activities. Like they say, you can never be too complacent!

Photos!

Anyway, here are pictures from the trip.

MARANG, MANGOSTEEN, LANZONES

Meet a new strange fruit named Marang. Marang is a cross between three fruits: durian, guyabano and jackfruit. It has a faint durian taste but the texture and softness of the fruit is like a guyabano's. I believe Marangs also hail from the Jackfruit family. Durian, mangosteen and lanzones are incredibly cheap in Zamboanga. Durians are sold per piece and not per kilo. Three pieces of durian is only Php 100.00. A kilo of lanzones is Php 15.00 And a kilo of mangosteen is Php 10.00.

PEPPERCORNS & WHITE CHILI

It's the first time I saw fresh ones! Too bad I wasn't able to taste the white chilli though. Our host family aren't using them. Maybe it's poisonous or something?

HIBISCUS GARDEN

A bunch of interesting hibiscus species for you.

PASEO DEL MAR, ZAMBOANGA CITY

I didn't know Zamboanga is known as "Asia's Latin City". The dialect here sounds like Bisaya and broken Spanish stirred well together. Paseo del Mar is like Manila Bay where people chillax, drink and eat with friends.

FORT PILAR SHRINE

Hmmm.. okay. Moving on.

THE BARTER

Remember in history class when our teacher would tell us about the barter wherein merchants exchange a good for another good? Apparently, they still have a barter in Zamboanga City sans the mode of exchanging goods. They have a lot of smuggled Indonesian/Malaysian biscuits and coffees sold here. Next to Durian, Mangosteen and Lanzones, you will notice boxes of APOLLO biscuits in the airport carried as pasalubong. I am not kidding.

BALAY SA DALAMPASIGAN, DAPITAN

Okay, so this is not really called "Balay sa Dalampasigan" since I invented the title. Sorry I was too engrossed with a lot of things that I forgot to take notes. It's a pretty view from the top especially at night when the moon is at its fullest. Picture below is the interior of the house/hut.

DAKAK PRIVATE BEACH, DAPITAN

One of the most gorgeous white sand beaches I've seen so far. First of, it is clean because it is a private beach and still an undiscovered treasure. What I like most about the beach is the shallow & calm water best suited for people like me who knows no shit about swimming. Too bad time does not permit us to bask in the sun or wade in the water.

Travel Tips after the jump! (and more photos too)
