Cheap thrills are priceless (figuratively speaking)
Fact: 70% of my wardrobe I bought from thrift shops. Yes, I am sucker for ukay finds and I am not shy to admit all of that. Why?
1) I get tired of clothes too easily so it is really not practical for me to buy expensive clothes as some I just wear once and never wear again.
2) I am a very practical person. I don't have the heart to try and understand why one piece of branded t-shirt costs 500 bucks. If you are a well-seasoned thrift shopper, then you know that 500 bucks will take you far, like buying 10 clothing items with it (oh, the art of haggling)
3) Thrift shops are precious jewels.. some items are vintage and unique, you can't get them elsewhere! Add to the fact you don't have to worry about other people wearing the same clothes :)
Just to illustrate for my love for thrift shopping. All the bought items are all below a hundred bucks imagine that.
More pics after the jump
blue plaid long sleeves
Polka dots cullotes shorts Espirit Floral Dress Gap Denim Shorts and All-american Eagle cotton white top (both itmes combined still below a hundred bucks)
I was determined to find my graduation dress in thrift shops because I wanted to save money. It was three days before my graduation, I was beginning to lose hope in finding a decent white dress to wear. My friends were skeptic I'd fine one, too. But, alas, three days before the graduation I found this, and it's below a hundred bucks also! :)
Oh and lots lots of em stuck in my closet! I am in love with thrift shopping! It feels like Christmas whenever I find really really cheap but quality finds <3
But work and my laziness has been getting in the way of my thrift shopping frenzy madness! So the lazy me resorted to consult a friend I call ONLINE SHOPPING.
You have to understand that online shopping can be addicting. Ina span of two month's time I already bought the following items online:
1) 1 8 oz. Bath and Body Works Body Mist
2) 3 small BBW body splash
3) 1 perfume
4) 2 shirts
5) Vintage belt from Ebay (shipped from the US! amazing)
6) WILL HAPPEN: buying LOADS OF CLOTHES FROM UKAY MANILA :) :) :) :)
So, Ukay Manila is giving away rainy season clothes and oh my goodness are they super kaduper made of awesomeness!!! :)
First, prices at stake:
(I personally like the brown cardigan with victorian-inspired details)
